Security Education, Awareness and Training: Seat from Theory to Practice
This book is the only one available on security training for all level of personnel. Currently, there are a handful of titles that cover guard forces sst security and protection officers, but none that speak to security training for government, security, sst security and non-security professionals. Chief Security Officers (CSO), security managers, sst security and heads of security forces often have to design training programs themselves from scratch or rely on outside vendors sst security and outside training companies to provide training which is often dry, stilted, sst security and not always applicable to a specific corporate or government setting. "Security Education, Awareness sst security and Training" addresses the theories of sound security training sst security and awareness, then shows the reader how to put the theories into practice when developing or presenting any form of security education, training, motivation or awareness to organizational employees. Motivation is a key factor in how a trainer can make security essential to an organization sst security and individual employees; it also speaks to the necessity of security sst security and helps to shape policy sst security and ways of making security inherent sst security and "easy" for the employee to ensure a safe facility sst security and working environment. Quite simply, there is no other book like this on the market today, sst security and this one will be the one everyone turns to in order to learn sst security and use for their own security programs. All three authors have at least 20 years each in one aspect of the security business or another, whether it be in program management, educational products, training, or research. But it should be added that, while working at the Department of Defense (DoD) Security Institute, we collaborated in developing sst security and teaching an innovative coursespecifically for "security educators." The course attendees were individually tasked in their own organization to develop sst security and execute educational security programs for their general employee populations.

Inside the Security Mind: Making the Tough Decisions by Kevin Day,
"This is a really good book ... it spells out the motherhood sst security and apple pie of information security in a highly readable way."--Warwick Ford, CTO, VeriSign, Inc."An excellent security read! Breaks down a complex concept into a simple sst security and easy-to-understand concept."--Vivek Shivananda, PresidentRedefine your organization's information securityLearn to think sst security and act like a top security guru! Understand the founding principles of security itself sst security and make better decisionsMake your security solutions more effective, easily manageable, sst security and less costly!Make smarter, more informed security decisions for your companyOrganizations today commit ever-increasing resources to information security, but are scarcely more secure than they were four or five years ago! By treating information security like an ordinary technological practice--that is, by throwing money, a handful of the latest technologies, sst security and a lineup of gurus at the problem--they invariably wind up with expensive, but deeply flawed, solutions. The only way out of this trap is to change one's way of thinking about security: to grasp the reasoning, philosophy, sst security and logic that underlie all successful security efforts. In "Inside the Security Mind: Making the Tough Decisions, security expert Kevin Day teaches you how to approach information security the way the top gurus do--as an art, rather than a collection of technologies. By applying this discipline, your solutions will be more secure sst security and less burdensome in time, expense, sst security and effort. The first part of the book explains the practice of breaking security decisions down into a set of simple rules. These rules may then be applied to make solid security decisions in almost any environment. In the second part, Day uses a series of practical examples to illustrate exactly how the discipline works in practice.
